- To keep your wicker furniture looking its best, regularly clean it with a solution of mild liquid detergent and warm water. Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently wipe down the surface, ensuring that dirt and debris are removed from the woven texture. For deeper cleaning, a soft-bristle brush can be used to reach between the weaves.
- After washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. Allow the furniture to dry completely before use to prevent moisture buildup. Regular maintenance will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your wicker furniture, keeping it fresh and inviting for years to come.
METAL FRAME
- To maintain the appearance and durability of your metal frames, apply a clear automobile wax regularly. This provides maximum protection against harmful ultraviolet (UV) exposure, salt air, and other environmental elements that can cause fading or corrosion. For best results, clean the surface before applying the wax to ensure proper adhesion and long-lasting protection.

TEAK
PRODUCT CARE
KANNOA teak requires little to no maintenance. When left outdoors, it will gradually develop a handsome silver- gray patina over time. This natural weathering process typically takes around nine months, depending on the level of sun and rain exposure.
- To keep your teak furniture looking its best, clean it periodically with a soft-bristle brush or sponge. Water spots or slight discoloration may appear during the weathering process, but these will even out as the wood matures, resulting in a uniform silver-gray finish.
- For general cleaning, mix a solution of four parts laundry detergent or dishwashing soap to one part bleach in water. Using a soft-bristle brush, gently scrub the furniture to remove dirt and debris. Once finished, rinse the entire piece thoroughly to ensure all residue is removed. Regular cleaning will help maintain the furniture’s natural beauty and longevity.
- If you prefer to preserve teak’s original golden color, a teak conditioner can be applied every three months. However, keep in mind that oiling outdoor teak is not recommended, as it may lead to mildew growth or uneven coloration
- Teak naturally contains oils that may seep out following the first few rainfalls. To protect your cushions from potential staining, bring them indoors before the furniture gets wet. Please note that stains caused by teak oil are not covered under warranty.

FAUX WOOD
PRODUCT CARE
KANNOA outdoor faux wood is a great choice because it offers the look of real wood with the durability of synthetic materials. It resists moisture, rotting, and insects, making it perfect for outdoor use. Faux wood requires little maintenance—no need for sealing or painting—and can withstand harsh weather without fading or warping.
General Cleaning
- To ensure your faux wood product stays in great condition, clean it regularly using hot, soapy water, and always dry the product immediately afterward.
- For deeper cleaning, a gentle use of a green scourer is recommended. When cleaning, make sure to rub in a straight line following the direction of the slats.
- Always clean in the same direction to maintain a smooth, even finish over time.
SLING/MESH
PRODUCT CARE
KANNOA outdoor fabric is perfect for withstanding the elements while maintaining its vibrant appearance. It is durable, water-resistant, and designed to resist fading from sun exposure.
General Cleaning
- Brush off any loose dirt with a soft, non-metallic brush; vacuum if needed.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 2 ounces (1/4 cup) mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water.
- Wash with a soft brush or a sponge.
- Rinse copiously (spray) with clean water.
- Allow the fabric to dry completely in the open air, well spread out.
- Note: If the textile can be removed from its base, it may be machine-cleaned at a temperature less than 40º C
WARNING
Some spots may be hard to get rid of using the above cleaning procedure. Their properties may make them uncleanable by the usual methods and it may be necessary to use products that can be harmful to textiles. So before using them, it is advisable to consider whether you really need to. You may need the services of a specialist.
Generally speaking, you should not use solvents or abrasives. The resistance of our textiles to chemicals depends on a number of factors such as the form of the chemicals (solid, liquid or gaseous), temperature, concentration and contact time. In some cases, a mixture of cleaning agents can be harmful even though each product on its own is not.
Consequently the following products are prohibited:
- Abrasives of any sort, powders, pastes, liquids, abrasive sponges and pressured steam generators.
- Organic chemical products such as acetone, petrol, benzene fuel oil, kerosene, perchlorethylene, terebenthine, toluene, trichlorethylene and petroleum.
- Inorganic chemical products such as ammonia, nitric acid, sulphuric acid, acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, soda, cauctic soda and bleach water.
CEMENT
PRODUCT CARE
KANNOA outdoor cement furniture is a durable and stylish option for enhancing any outdoor space. It’s weather-resistant, able to withstand the elements without cracking or fading, and offers a modern, sleek look.
General Cleaning
- Do not allow stains to sit; wipe or hose off immediately.
- To avoid any stains, apply a Topical sealer (download care sheet for detailed info on sealers). Sealer will need to be re-applied periodically.
- Wax 1- 2 times each year with a regular Paraffin based floor wax.
- Furniture should be kept in a dry place.
- Avoid standing water,or snow and ice, inside planters and vases during cold season.
STRAP

For best results, clean the surface before applying the protectant, ensuring maximum absorption and long-lasting protection. Regular maintenance will help extend the life of your furniture and keep it looking fresh and well-maintained.
